DX-201 Boiler Tube Oxide Scale Nondestructive Tester is suitable for measuring non-magnetic stainless steel pipe inner layer accumulation rust. It is a dedicated power plant oxide scale detection instrument developed by our company, which adopts patented technology designed test probe, combined with the universal fluxmeter.


Instrument Technical Parameters.

Power supply: AC 220V/0.5A.

Test range: 20.00 mWb with peak hold function.

The accuracy of DC magnetic field is better than 1.0% (corresponding to the full range of each gear).

Minimum resolution of magnetic field: 10uWb.

Instructions for use of DX-201 Boiler Tube Oxide Scale Nondestructive Tester:

1. Please read the manual before use to make it easy to operate and avoid unnecessary trouble for you. Then check that the instrument is complete.

2. Turn it on:  According to the size and model of the test pipe, the matching test probe is selected to connect with the DX-201 boiler tube oxide scale nondestructive tester, and then press the red "POWER" power switch on the front panel of the instrument. The switch is indicated by red light, and the watch head is displayed digitally. Appears as “0.00”.

3. Set zero: After turning on, the display value of the watch head will jump, rotate the "ADJUST" zero knob, if the reading jumps faster, then adjust in the opposite direction, so that the reading is stable. You can normally use after reading beat below one word per second, for example, it is better to use less than one word every ten seconds.

4. Clear zero: Put the probe in a place where there is no magnetic or no iron-nickel metal, press the "RESET" key on the front panel of the instrument or the touch switch on the probe, and the watch head is zero.

5. Measurement. First, the probe of the detector is moved against the simulated pipe to measure, and the head of the instrument will have the corresponding reading change, if the probe is fixed, the reading will also be a stable value. In this way, the proportional relationship between the test data and the oxide accumulation condition is understood, and the corresponding amount of data to be cut is determined. If the simulated tube contains the degree of oxide to be cut, and the detector shows the result of "4.00mWb", then this value is a reference value. When the probe is slid on the pipe during the field test, the head reading of the detector will increase rapidly when there is a blockage interval, such as "4.10mWb". About three times of inspection  at this position to determine the average value of the three data, and whether to cut and clear the plug will be determined according to the experimental data. It is recommended that you should always clear zero in the course of testing. The probe can be removed from the pipe, such as in the air, and then zeroed to reduce the cumulative drift of the instrument and  reading error.

6. Charge. The primary saturation charging of the detector can be used continuously for 4 hours. If the power is not enough, the following phenomena will occur: the head is not displayed; the head is displayed at zero, and the test number does not change; the test results are obviously on the low side. At this time, it must be charged for 8 hours to make the battery saturate again before it can be used. If you do not use it for a long time, it is recommended to charge once a month for about 8 hours.

7. The probe model can be selected as follows: :Ø38mm,Ø47mm,Ø51mm,Ø57mm,Ø63.5mm. The test probe does not affect the test sensitivity due to the change of the thickness and diameter of the pipe.


Other: Peak Lock. Press the``HOLD'' button on the instrument panel to turn on the peak locking function, and the meter will display the maximum value during this test. Press this key again to unlock the function. It is suitable for the place where the magnetic field changes rapidly, and it is recommended to be used with caution in the pipe test, because in the test of a section of pipe,  if this locking function is turned on, the header will lock only show a maximum value, such as``4.100'' , is it one or more places? At what position? Finally, the lock is to be unlocked, and the position is determined by moving the probe slowly.
